In this video, we'll guide you through the disassembly and repair process of the PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic 6. This high-performance phone boasts the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, up to 24GB of RAM, and a variety of enhanced chips for security, RF performance, and power efficiency. A key advantage? Unlike recent Huawei phones, the HONOR Magic 6 (international model BVL-N59) offers full Google Services access.
Let's Disassemble!
We'll be using the PT-T13 toolbox by PolarTech, which provides all the necessary tools for phone repair.

SIM Card Removal: Start by ejecting the SIM card tray.

Back Cover: Heating is crucial. We'll use the Magic Self-Heating Pad for 10 minutes, followed by another 10 minutes of waiting for the back cover to warm up sufficiently. Once hot to the touch, use a safety razor blade with some alcohol to create a gap and carefully insert a disassembly card to cut the adhesive around the edges.

Triple-Lens Camera System: This phone features a powerful 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and an 8MP periscope telephoto camera.

Exquisite Design: The PORSCHE DESIGN HONOR Magic 6 embodies minimalist luxury with a titanium alloy body and a ceramic back panel. The back's mirror decoration incorporates a double-curved rectangular camera module design.

Screws and Antenna Cover: Remove all the screws, remembering that those in the red circle are special metal and require tweezers, not a magnetic screwdriver. Pry open the antenna cover, which integrates multiple antennas, wireless charging coils, flashlights, and other functionalities.

Battery Disconnection: Carefully disconnect the two battery connectors using a spudger.

Antenna and Other Connectors: Disconnect the antenna connection with tweezers and proceed to disconnect other connectors.

Battery Removal: The phone utilizes pull tabs for battery removal, but a little alcohol can significantly ease the process.

Motherboard: Before removing the motherboard, locate and remove the final securing screw using the Convex cross 2.5 screwdriver from the PT-T13 kit. Forcing the motherboard without removing this screw will cause damage.

Internal Components: We'll be taking a closer look at various internal components, including the vibrator, 50MP selfie camera, TOF 3D selfie camera, stereo loudspeakers, Wi-Fi signal antenna, charging port sub board, SIM tray holder, 180MP periscope telephoto camera system, 50MP main and ultrawide cameras, LiDAR Matrix autofocus system, and the HONOR Magic6 RSR motherboard known for its exceptional performance and efficient design.
Reassembly:
- Back Cover Adhesion: The final step involves reattaching the back cover using B7000 adhesive for a strong and durable bond. Apply the adhesive around the frame, following the original markings if present. Let it cure for 2 minutes before firmly pressing the back cover onto the frame, ensuring a perfect fit without gaps. Secure the assembly with rubber bands for even pressure while the adhesive cures fully. Allow at least 2 hours for curing before using the phone, with maximum adhesive strength achieved after 24 hours.
Remember: Avoid applying excessive force to the back cover during this curing period.
