Note: The original PS5 fan comes in two versions: a 17-blade and a 23-blade model. The 17-blade fan is known to produce low-frequency noise, and replacing it with the 23-blade version can theoretically resolve this specific issue. However, the PS5 also has other common noise issues, such as coil whine and loud disc drive sounds. Replacing the fan can only address the low-frequency noise caused by the 17-blade fan. If the low-frequency noise originates from a different source, fan replacement will not resolve the problem.
